Diving Santa Cruz Island – 2/11/12

Went out for a day on Anacapa Isl. but the swell made that impossible, so we ended up on Santa Cruz Isl. And even there only a two mile stretch was calm enough to put the anchor down. In the end it was pea-soup diving with all the stuff kicked up with the swell. So I decided to play with the fisheye lens and strobe positioning. Not that there was anything worthwhile, but a dive is a dive. That is until the very end of the third and last dive (day was cut short) when a giant piece of salp (Thetys vagina) showed up.
